This route is a little bit short but challenging. It also ends next to the House of Virgin Mary.
7.5-kilometer-long route set off just next to the Turkey’s first and only railway museum “Çamlık Steam Locomotive Open Air Museum”. Before starting to ride, you can see a wood-powered British locomotive which is one of the only two examples in the world and 30 different steam locomotives.
Within this 7.5-kilometer, we’ll climb the Bülbüldağı and gain an altitude of about 300 meters. We’ve to go through the olive groves. On the top of the mountain, there’s the House of Virgin Mary, one of the holiest places in Christianity. You’ll be a little tired. Relaxing by visiting the museum is not a bad idea at all!
