A route through the forests with a bit of a challenging, a lot of oxygen and view of the Aegean!
We depart from the center of Marmaris, and first direction will be Çetibeli Village. This is a village covered with pine trees and sweetgums. If you feel a little tired, you can rest at the restaurant in the garden of Marmaris’s oldest mill and taste local vegetable dishes.
After Çetibeli, we are going to Çamlı Village on the forest roads. On this road, it’s possible to enjoy silence and oxygen on the virgin hills. If you are in spring, do not leave Çamlı before eating fresh strawberries.
We left Çamlı Village. We continue with unique views of Gökova Bay. We’ll see the ruins of Euthenna, an ancient city of Rhodes. Then we’ll descend. Just before Beldibi, we’re going to go through a few points that give us the opportunity to take great pictures.
Our last stop before returning to Marmaris will be the Ancient City of Physkos, where the settlements began in 3400 BC. We recommend exploring this deep history before completing the route!
